The paperwork, prepared for you

We can't lodge the application for you, and nobody can promise approval. What we can do is hand you everything the form asks for, so your application is complete the first time.

  1. Rebate-compliant quote

Dated, itemised and listing every minimum spec, with our Security licence number and the installer's full name. Laid out to match what the pre-approval form asks for.

  2. Landlord consent letter template

Pre-filled with your business and property details, ready for your landlord or agent to sign.

  3. Shopfront photo guide

One page on taking the shopfront photo the SBDC asks for.

  4. Pre-approval checklist

A PDF listing every document in the order you upload it, so the application is complete on the first submit.

  5. Post-install paperwork

A tax invoice listing the CCTV specs, plus step-by-step help registering on Cam-Map WA, so your Service Completion form can go in within 14 days.

  6. Signage and staff notice

Entrance signs and a written staff notice template, to meet the ongoing conditions.

What only you can do

  • Lodge the application yourself, as the owner, director, partner or manager
  • Upload unredacted PDFs, including a recent bank statement for the account the rebate is paid into
  • Pay the invoice and lodge the Service Completion form

Do you qualify?

Check all three before you apply

These come from the SBDC program rules. The SBDC makes the final call on every application.

Your business

  • Fewer than 20 employees by headcount: full-time, part-time and casual (owners, non-executive directors and contractors are not counted)
  • An active ABN and registered for GST
  • Retail or customer-facing, with a physical shopfront or service location in WA
  • Not insolvent or in administration
  • Not part of a group with 20 or more employees
  • Not a government property

Your system

  • Hard-wired cameras, no wireless
  • At least one camera covering the customer entrance and the point of sale
  • 5MP or better on every camera
  • A recorder with at least a 3TB drive
  • Infrared or low-light night recording
  • Time and date stamp on footage
  • Exports to USB in a standard video format
  • Installed by a WA Class 2 Security Installer, through a business holding a Security Agent licence. No DIY.

Before and after install

  • Pre-approval before any installation
  • A current shopfront photo, written landlord or agent consent if you lease, and a quote dated after 6 October 2026
  • Install and pay within 60 days of pre-approval
  • A tax invoice listing the CCTV specs, plus proof of payment
  • Register the system on WA Police Cam-Map WA
  • Lodge the Service Completion form within 14 days of install
  • Signs at every entrance, staff told in writing, and no cameras in toilets or change rooms
  • Footage provided to WA Police on request, and a possible audit

Offices, warehouses and trade-only sites usually do not qualify, because the rebate is for customer-facing premises. We still quote them, just without the rebate.

Small business rebate questions

How much can I get back?
Half the system cost before GST, up to $2,000. On our packages the most you could get back is $836.36 on the Counter 2-Cam, $1,063.64 on the Shopfront 4-Cam and $1,336.36 on the Full Store 6-Cam. It is one rebate per retail or customer-facing property.
Does my business qualify?
You need fewer than 20 employees by headcount, an active ABN, GST registration and a customer-facing shopfront or service location in WA. You can't be insolvent, in administration or part of a group with 20 or more employees. The SBDC makes the final call.
Do I need approval before installing?
Yes. You need SBDC pre-approval before any installation, and a system installed first gets no rebate. We only book your install once your pre-approval comes through.
Can you lodge the application for me?
No. The business lodges it itself, through an owner, director, partner or manager, and suppliers and accountants can't lodge it for you. We prepare the quote, templates and checklist, so you have everything ready to upload.
Why must it be hard-wired?
It is one of the program's minimum specs, and wireless cameras don't qualify. Our cameras take power and data down one network cable, so there are no batteries to change and no Wi-Fi dropouts.
I lease my shop, can I apply?
Yes, with written consent from your landlord or agent, uploaded with your pre-approval application. The Rebate-Ready Pack includes a consent letter template pre-filled with your details, ready for them to sign.
Do I have to register with Cam-Map WA?
Yes. Registering the system on WA Police Cam-Map WA is part of the claim, done before you lodge the Service Completion form. We walk you through it after the install.
Can police see my cameras live?
No. Cam-Map WA tells police where registered cameras are, so they can ask you for footage after an incident. They can't log in to your system or watch it live.
Can I upgrade my existing system?
We can quote it. Whatever we install has to meet every minimum spec, so cameras under 5MP or on wireless usually need replacing. Read the SBDC guidelines on upgrades before you apply, because the SBDC decides what qualifies.
Can I combine it with a council rebate?
Some Perth councils run CCTV rebates that businesses can also claim. Whether you can take both depends on each scheme's terms, so read the SBDC guidelines and your council's rules before counting on it. Our Perth council CCTV rebates page shows which councils include businesses.
Can you install outside trading hours?
Yes. We can install before you open or after you close, so customers never walk past ladders and cable. Tell us your trading hours when we quote.
Are you affiliated with the SBDC?
No. Innogreen is an independent Perth installer, not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting for the SBDC or Crime Stoppers WA. The SBDC alone decides eligibility and the amount paid.
