The questions everyone asks

Is the price really installed, or is that just the equipment?
Fully installed, including GST: cameras, recorder and drive, cabling, mounting and setup on your phone. The only common extra is double storey access, which the quote builder adds for you.
What makes a job cost more than the price I see?
Usually only double storey access, $715 once per job. Unusual runs, such as a detached shed or a home with no roof access, are quoted and agreed before we start, never after.
Can I get a rebate for CCTV in Perth?
Often. Seventeen of the thirty-one Perth metro councils run a home CCTV rebate, paying $150 to $750. The postcode step above shows yours, and our Perth council CCTV rebates page lists every council. You apply, the council decides and it pays you directly after the job.
How many cameras do I actually need?
Most Perth homes need four to six. Corner blocks, sheds and pools push it to six or eight. Not sure? Pick that option and we will work it out with you on a free call.
What is the free upgrade?
From five cameras up we fit the 8 channel recorder and the 4TB drive at no extra cost, so you can add cameras later and keep about twice the footage. The base price is the same at four cameras or eight; you only pay for the extra cameras.
How long do the recordings last?
A couple of weeks of continuous footage on the 2TB drive, and roughly double on the 4TB drive, which is free from five cameras up. Need a set period? Tell us and we will size the drive for it.
Do I need internet or a subscription?
There is no subscription or cloud fee, and the cameras keep recording to the recorder in your home if the internet drops out. You only need internet to watch from your phone while you are away.
Which areas of Perth do you cover?
The whole Perth metro area, from Yanchep to Mandurah and out to the hills. Further out? Send your details and we will tell you honestly whether we can get to you.
Is there a warranty?
Twelve months on parts and labour, on top of the HiLook manufacturer warranty.
