Six things worth deciding early
Motorised blinds are one of the cheapest ways into a smart home, provided the retrofit path, the power source and the manual override are settled up front.
Retrofit before you replace
If your blinds are in good condition, a motor and hub usually cost far less than new automated blinds. We quote motorising what you own before we quote replacing it.
Roller shutters do three jobs
Through a Perth summer a shutter cuts heat, noise and break-in risk at once. Automating them means the house is shaded before the afternoon sun arrives, not after it has already heated up.
One scene, blinds and lights together
Blinds are far more useful when they share a routine with lighting. Morning opens the blinds and lifts the lights gently. Evening closes for privacy and warms the room.

Talk with your support coordinator, LAC or occupational therapist about the barriers blinds and shutters currently create for you.
Your OT prepares an Assistive Technology (or Home Modification) assessment identifying the functional need.
Innogreen provides quotes, product documentation and installation scope for the report.
The assessment goes into your NDIS plan review or a variation request; a decision is made by the NDIA.
On approval, we install, program routines, brief your household and hand over training materials.

Yes. Every motor we install ships with a physical remote and stored schedules, so blinds continue to open and close even when Wi-Fi or the voice assistant is down. You just lose the ability to change scenes from your phone temporarily.
